Buying a new San Antonio house from a builder

by tim on Mar.12, 2010, under Trade Leads

There are some wonderful new San Antonio homes available on the market if you’re interested in getting your hands on a bargain from the home builders. Many San Antonio home builders are ready to bargain with buyers, especially if the buyer has signed a buyer’s agent who knows the knows the buyers’ incentives available and can vigorously represent the buyer.

Buying a home when it’s newly built makes a lot of sense for many people in the market, as opposed to buying a fixer upper that has the potential for becoming a money pit with costly repairs and a long list of things to do after moving in. With a new home purchase, buyers tend to report a much higher satisfaction rate with their decision to buy the house than those who bought used homes. Why? There are several reasons.

Buying a new house will reduce your overall risk

When you buy a new home, there is often less of a chance of getting hit by unforseen repairs because you are negotiating with a reputable builder with many other homes and communities in most cases. In fact, you really just need to walk down the street and visit with other residents. You’ll easily discover the the quality of the home, and hopefully, the amount of confidence you can have that you’re getting what you’re paying for. If you don’t want to have to worry about a hidden defect you might be forced to deal with later, then buy a new home.

When you buy new, it’s less hassle

If you don’t want to have to deal with common things like fixing leaking windows, repainting ceilings, and waiting for a contingency clause to pan out (believe me, this kills a lot of deals every day), then you really have to consider buying a new home rather than a pre-existing home. Because the home builder has done the process many times before, chances are good the transaction will go quickly and painlessly. With private party transactions, you are much more likely to run into delays and mistakes along the way to your closing.

Avoid all that by buying a new San Antonio home instead.
